VERLIN

A flemish painter from Antwerp.

Born in Aarschot under the star sign Aries-Rat,  grew up with a creative father and grandparents, as a little boy, he was walking around in old ateliers which were filled with artworks, carved wood crafts, old yellow paper plans, books and images. When he grew up he became so interested in history and architecture, and start reading bibliography of artist as Velasquez, Manet, Van Gogh, Modigliani. First he was inserted is their lives, because everything starts with a story. A story becomes an emotion, an emotion becomes a movement, a movement becomes art.

To see the movements of his heroes' stories he went often to Paris, Museé d'Orsay to look at their paintings. They are his teachers who speak to him with the movement of their brush.
